Carmen Bizzarri, PhD currently holds the role of type A researcher and in May 2024 she will serve as associate professor in economic geography at the European University of Rome. Already coordinator of the Master in Management of Tourist Organizations at the European University of Rome, she has two monographs to her credit, several contributions in numerous collective volumes and publications in national and international journals on tourism issues and the sustainable and inclusive valorization of resources for tourism purposes in different territorial contexts. He is a member of the scientific committee of the "Generative Welfare, Sustainability and Rights" research center at the European University of Rome, of the Gran Sasso International Forum, BTO, Root Tourism Committee at Maeci and treasurer of Sistur and national vice president of Tourism Confassociazioni with responsibility for sustainable tourism at national level. He is part of the Scientific Advisory Board of the new series “Tourism Studies in the Mediterranean Region and of the Science Publishing Group and is also a reviewer for numerous international journals.
