Phd Ortega Zavala earned a Master´s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation and a Phd in Biodiversity and Conservation Science from de Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, Mexico. Subsequently obtained a Master´s degree in Bioethics from Anahuac University Mexico. Her research interests focus on understanding the importance of bioethics in decision-making in health sciences, environmental protection, and natural resource conservation.
