Nava Jiménez is a member of the State System of Researchers (SEII) at the Honorary Level and a Candidate in the National System of Researchers (SNII). She has authored research and science communication articles. She serves as the Coordinator of Basic Sciences at the International School of Medicine at Universidad Anáhuac Cancún and as an external research collaborator at the Instituto Tecnológico de Cancún, part of the Tecnológico Nacional de México.
