Description
The aim of this project is to strengthen and promote community urban gardens (HUC, by its Spanish acronym) in Mérida, Yucatán, by implementing sustainable infrastructure and building productive and management capacities within the HUC, thereby increasing their environmental, social, and economic resilience. In addition, the project seeks to consolidate and launch the HUC-MID Network to advance urban agriculture and to establish strategic partnerships and working committees that ensure the long-term visibility and sustainability of the gardens.
