Gabriel A. Medina-Aguilar is a Researcher at the Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro. He holds a master's degree in Information and Communication Sciences from the Université Paris-Nanterre and is a PhD candidate in Communication from the Universidad Iberoamericana CDMX. His doctoral thesis is a cartography of the Imaginaries of the technological future. He is a member of the Mexican Association of Communication Researchers (AMIC) and the French Society of Information and Communication Sciences (SFSIC). He is a member of the research group Observatory of Advertising Communication of the Francisco de Vitoria University (Madrid). His lines of research revolve around Digital Culture and technological imaginaries. He was the recipient of the 2024 Emerging Scholar Award, by the scientific association Common Ground Network.
