PhD in Food Science from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP), teacher of the Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition from the Autonomous Popular University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) and Graduate in Biology from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP).
She carried out a research stay in Spain at the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology, in the Conservation Processes and Risk Analysis in Foods group and a research stay at the FEMSA Biotechnology center, in the Emerging Technologies laboratory (Electrical pulses of high intensity and high hydrostatic pressures), carried out at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Monterrey campus.
