Personal resumeDr. Landskron is a Medical Technologist in Clinical Laboratory, Hematology, and Blood Bank from the University of Antofagasta, and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Chile. Currently, she is a Research Academic and Assistant Professor at the Center for Advanced Biomedical Research (CIBMED) at the School of Medicine, Finis Terrae University since 2021. Her research line is basic-clinical in nature, focusing on mucosal immunology and its application to various gastrointestinal pathologies such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel diseases, and colorectal cancer. She is currently studying the role of the antitumor immune response and evasion mechanisms in the development and progression of colon cancer in the presence of chronic inflammatory conditions, such as obesity, and how they influence disease course and tumor microenvironment remodeling.
