He holds a PhD in Economics from UNAM, a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, and Innovation from UAM, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the National University of Callao. He is a specialist in Corporate Finance and Microfinance. He teaches at the School of Economics and Business at Universidad Anáhuac Puebla and conducts research on SME financing. He is a member of REPICE and FAEDPYME, and is affiliated with LANCEDEM and the Competitiveness Observatory. He received the REPICE Research Award in 2023 and is a CONACYT fellow. He is also an author and speaker at national and international conferences.
