Personal resume

Marlene Fermín González obtained her doctorate at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED, Spain), specifically in child and family education. Her B.A. and M.A. studies were completed at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She is currently an Associate Professor at Universidad Finis Terrae, in the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Family and an active member of the Research Center of this Faculty (CIPEF). Her research interests are related to early childhood education, from an inclusive perspective and pedagogical attention to diversity. She is currently developing several studies that respond to her lines of research: early childhood education for sustainability (ECEfS); attention to the cultural diversity of migrant children and families; and the training of early childhood educators to promote ECEfS.
