Professional resume
With over 35 years of experience, he has spearheaded numerous national and international science, technology, and innovation projects in the realm of materials science and engineering. He has supervised over 30 theses at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. His extensive scientific contributions include more than 100 international publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as authoring several books and book chapters. He has delivered approximately 50 lectures at international conferences, where he has also served as a chairman. His leadership roles have encompassed being the scientific director of research institutions, head of graduate studies and research at public universities, and a 14-year tenure as the Academic Vice-Rector of Anáhuac Mayab University. Presently, he holds the position of Director of Research and Development at the same institution.
