Personal resume

Doctorate in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Her research has focused on the history of public health in Chile, specializing in the relationship between the state, health, and society, and in the study of epidemics. She is the author of "Viruela y Vacuna: Difusión y circulación de una práctica médica" (Universitaria, 2016). She has published academic articles on the history of health and the independence period in Chile and Latin America. She is the lead researcher of Fondecyt regular Project 12 "Disaster writing and the Pink Tide in Latin America," funded by ANID. She has taught courses on the History of Chile and America during the 19th century, as well as Research Seminars at the Finis Terrae University. Currently, she is a researcher and director at CIDOC, as well as a professor at the School of History at the Finis Terrae University.
