Reseña Curricular
Gustavo Carvajal is an assistant professor at the School of Literature of the Universidad Finis Terrae, a position he assumed after completing his PhD in Latin American Cultural Studies at the University of Manchester. He is the author of "Women, Memory and Dictatorship in Recent Chilean Fiction" (University of Wales Press, 2021) and co-editor with Ignacio Aguiló of the volume "Chile desde los Estudios Culturales: Miradas actuales sobre poesía, narrativa y cultura visual" (Ediciones Universidad Finis Terrae, 2019). He is the principal investigator of Fondecyt regular Project 1240650 "Disaster writing and the Pink Tide in Latin America," funded by ANID. He has received invitations to present his work at the University of California (Los Angeles), Stanford University, Tulane University, The University of Sydney, and The University of Tokyo.
